Claddagh wedding rings celebrate love, loyalty, and friendship. The Claddagh is one of Ireland's best known symbols, and was first designed by Richard Joyce just outside of Galway in the 18th century.
Joyce had left Ireland to work as an indentured servant, but his ship was captured by pirates and the entire crew enslaved. He was sold to a goldsmith in Tangiers, where he learned his trade. He was eventually freed and made his way home to Ireland where he designed the first Claddagh ring.
The beautiful Claddagh wedding rings are handcrafted in Ireland just for you and hallmarked at the Assay Office in Dublin Castle. They are available in sterling silver, gold and white gold. We can quote 18K gold and platinum on request.
